Last week, I showed you how to add administrator through YouTube. In this video, we’ll essentially being doing the same thing but through a Google+ for business page.

Hi there internet fans, it’s Ryan Perry with Simple Biz Support, and today I’m going to show you how to add an administrator to your Google Plus business account. Now this will also give the user access to your YouTube account. I think it’s important to note that we’re not giving somebody access to our Gmail account or our personal G Plus account. This is simply going to give them access to the business G+ account which is linked to your YouTube account so it will give people access to that.

What you’re going to want to do to start out is open up a web browser and go to In the upper right-hand corner you’ll need to log in, which I’ve already done. Now the person logging in is going to be the person who is giving access to somebody else. And when you do that, we’re going to click on the plus sign so whosoever name it is, in this case it’s Eugene, we’re going to click on that. That’s going to take us to our personal page and then on the far left-hand side, if you see the Home, you’re going to come down and go to your local, or excuse me, you’re going to go to Pages. And Pages will show you all of the business accounts that this individual has. So if you have multiple business pages, you want to click the actual page that you want to give administrative rights to.

In this case, we only have one so we’re going to click Manage this Page. In the top center, let me get rid of all these notifications, in the top center’s the link here, it says Managers, click on that and then off to the right here it says Add Managers and all you’ll need to do is type in the email address of the person that you want to add or to the person that you want to add as an administrator. Once you’ve typed in the email address, click Invite and it will send an invite off.

Now you’ll notice that the invite does show up, however it’s grayed out compared to the actual business owner manager. This will be un-grayed once the individual who you sent this email to has accepted. Future reference, if you want to remove this person, all you’ll need to do is come back into Managers, you can click on the X, you’ll immediate remove them from your account. They will not have access to your Google Plus business page nor will they have access to your YouTube page. This is how you add an administrator to your Google Plus business and YouTube account. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them below. Thank you.
